Hey experts,
I'm trying to add SAML authentication as a login option to Confluence. We have 7.17.5 installed. There are different articles available with partially different ways to do this. I guess the best ressource will be https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/saml-single-sign-on-for-atlassian-data-center-applications-857050705.html
It relies on the SSO for Atlassian Server and Data Center app which is installed by default.
In > General Configuration > Authentication methods, when I add a configuration I can only select Crowd-Single-Sign-On. There is no SAML single sign on in the drop down list.
What am I doing wrong?
Hi @Ben Kroeger
SAML and OIDC options are available with a Data Center license applied, while Crowd SSO is available with a Server license as well.
Are you using Server or Data Center license on Confluence?
Kind regards,
Thiago Masutti
Hi Thiago,
ok we have a server license so our options are obviously limited.
Thanks for your answer!
Best regards!
