I am attempting to sort a date field in a confluence metadata-report. The date entry, called "My Date", is entered as MM/DD/YYYY, and the sort field is currently "My Date as date asc". However, the dates are shown in an incorrect order. The order doesn't reflect a preference for day, month, or even year... it seems a bit random. However, due to the new header sorting functionality in Confluence, when I click the Header it will resort appropriately. Is there any way to get the initial sort to work?
This is busted in mine too. I renamed the field thinking it was because of the space and it behaves exactly the same way.
I can get "as number" and "as istring" to behave correctly - but this field, pulling from a metadata-list in table format, does not sort when using "as date".
Manually sorting the field works, as the original poster also mentions.
I think you shouldn't have the "asc" in that sort hint.
