Confluence - Recommended Parameter Settings for Postgresql 10

Jiri Pik

I am migrating to Postgresql 10 from 9. All on AWS RDS.

In Postgresql 9, I experienced these:

  • Once upon a while, the Edit button results in an Optimistic Locking Exception
  • Once upon a while, the Edit button results in extremely long response and then the page content is duplicated - it looks like there is some retry policy which keeps copying the content of the page. Browser is Chrome but this looks like database access problem.

On one page, the contents has been duplicated 95x and then Confluence started to complain that the page is too long.

Are there any special AWS RDS Postgresql Parameter values which would help alleviate this problem?
