Confluence User Table out fo sync with JIRA user table

For some reason the User Tables between JIRA and Confluence are not syncing correctly.  The JIRA table is correct and is updated every evening from our Active Directory.  

But Confluence is retaining some duplicate user names etc.  

Is there a way to have Confluence force rebuild it's version of the User table??

Hi @Carl Dotson ,

try to remove existing AD user directory and create it from scratch. It should solve your issue.

Kepp in mind that you need to have a local system admin user on confluence and use it to perform that action.
