Confluence does not sync with Crowd

Hi,

The synchronization from Crowd to Confluence fails. 

In the log I found:

The new users can not be synced to Confluence.

Does anyone got this issue before?

could you try to delete and configurate again COnfluence to Crowd user directory?

I have already thought of that myself. But I do not want to risk nobody would be able to log in if the sync will not work. First I will also address Atlassian Support.
