Confluence doesn't refresh list of mandatory fields

Luís GÓIS June 27, 2017

I was trying to create an issue in JIRA by selecting some text in Confluence and clicking on the atlassian icon, however, the dialog shows that on the JIRA project I want to use, a certain field is required:

"The required field OPX Timecard is not available in this dialog. You will need to create your issue directly in JIRA"

This was true, until I made that field optional in the field configuration scheme used by my project.

I've already restarted Confluence, deleting the plugin caches. I've reindexed JIRA, restarted Confluence again and nothing seems to make Confluence see that the field is no longer required for an issue creation.

I see that recent projects show up in the dialog project select list, so there must be some kind of trigger to refresh the data in Confluence. However, I must now how to do it on demand.

Thanks.

Regards,

Luis

Never mind, 24 hours later it wasn't complaining about the field anymore, even if I didn't touch it again.
