Is there a default session timeout for Confluence when the users are in edit mode? I've seen the Atlassian document on how to adjust the session timeout for the system (https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-adjust-the-session-timeout-for-confluence-126910597.html) but it specifically says it's only for the view session and doesn't apply when the editor is open. We have users complaining that they are getting logged out frequently (less than the standard timeout frequency) while editing pages.
Same issue here, using 7.3.2 (version 8401), users shall reconnect every 30 minutes ish in edition mode. Confluence running in linux docker.
Any idea how to tune the edition timeout duration ?
Thanks.
Hi @Paul Heer
Which Confluence version are you running? The document to which you refer is for version 6.14. If that's the version, is concurrent editing turned on? The more completely you can describe the environment and the problem, the better chance someone here has of helping. Thanks!

We're running Confluence v6.12.1 with Collaborative editing turned on. The system is running on a linux OS with PostgreSQL database.

Is this a datacenter instance? Is access to the Synchrony editor direct or is it proxied by the Confluence server?
