Hi all,
In a whirl wind weekend I ended up fixing the Confluence to Jira macro. The problem was originally SSL based.
Though it is working now, in going in and redoing the link all the previous links now show:
"Unable to locate JIRA server for this macro. It may be due to Application Link configuration."
The user must go in and edit the macro, refresh it and save it. The problem is there are thousands of these links and having people do that to each one is not very practical.
Do anyone know how to refresh them all at once, or something that can be done to have confluence know about the redone application link?
Thanks,
Robert
Hi Robert,
If you changed the name of the application link, this article has SQL queries that can replace the application link name and server ID in the database, to resolve the error you're describing: 'Unable to Locate JIRA Server For This Macro' displayed after changing JIRA Application Link name
Please check out the article and let us know if it applies to your case. Ideally the queries could be tested on a non-production instance before you update the production instance but if that isn't possible please backup the database before running any SQL against it.
Thanks,
Ann
Thanks I will give that a try! Good stuff...

Turns out we did most of it by hand, which makes sql changes a little dangerous. So I will mark answered as I am sure it would of worked.
