Copy tables of one page into another page

Hello, i have to copy some copies of one page into another page. I do not want to set up the whole tables again. But it does not work via copy paste and inluce excerpt makro..what do I have to consider- e.g. it copies only the content of the table not the whole table itsself.....

What version of Confluence do you have?  You should be able to copy and paste tables - works for me.

I do have Confluence Version 5.9.2
