Database migration

Bernardo Sobrino April 7, 2021 edited

We are looking to migrate our JIRA and Confluence environments into another database such as SQL or MySQL (preferably MySQL 8.0).  We were wondering if there is a recommendation between one or the other and if SQL Express is supported as well?  We are currently still running on the built-in demo database and want to migrate away from this for production.

Hi @Bernardo Sobrino ,

Here you can find all supported databases for Jira https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/supported-platforms-938846830.html and for Confluence  https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/supported-platforms-207488198.html

Make sure to select the right Version of Jira and Confluence on the pages.

And here you can find more information about the migration
