Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×I created a blog post and posted it.
Search (by me) does not find it.
It is not listed by the Blog Posts macro which lists all (other) macros in this Space.
Our Admin updated the Space's sidebar so that blogs are visible - now I can display the blogs sidebar and the reluctant blog does appear there.
But it still does not appear in search or in the Blog Posts macro.
Any suggestions?
Our admin rebuilt the search index.
It seems that there's a button to do that.
So, the answer is that nobody has a clue?
If our admin comes up with something I will update this.
As of now, we have no answer.

@Jay Maechtlen Can you confirm that it is indeed a blog post and not just a page?

yes, it is a blog post.
Once I display blog posts in the sidebar, it does display there as it should. But it is not found by search (though the other posts are found) and it is not seen by the macro, though the other posts are shown.
The post does not show any restrictions.

Can you share some screenshots. I tried recreating but have not been able to. I am wondering if this is a one time glitch with that post and if you were to recreate the post if it would show up and you could delete the one that is not showing.

Maybe I'll create a 'test' blog post and see how it acts.

Thanks for following up-
The new post behaved the same as the last - they both show up in the sidebar, but neither appear in a search or in the results of the blog post macro.
Our admin is opening a support ticket with Atlassian.
we shall see...

And - now it all works fine.
I don't know if our admin did something or what.
Sorry for the lack of info, I will ask again.

@Jay Maechtlen Glad it is fixed. If you find out what was done and post it here that would be helpful for anyone else that has this issue.
