Do older versions of Confluence, like 6.13 & 6.15 support latest versions of Companion, like 1.2.5?

Srikanth Pinninti April 30, 2021

Can the Companion desktop clients be upgraded to latest versions like 1.2.5, even if the corresponding confluence runs an old version? Is that supported? Also, is there a support matrix for Confluence vs Companion clients?

Hi @Srikanth Pinninti

While more recent versions of the Companion App should work with older versions of Confluence, there are features that would only be available if you upgrade your Confluence version.

Take a look at CONFSERVER-56544 for an example.

You may follow the Companion App release notes for more information on it.

Kind regards,
Thiago Masutti
