Does Atlassian Companion reqire JAVA

I am trying to get Atlassian Comapnion installed in my company. The process is stuck since they need to know what JAVA-version is needed.

I had the impression that JAVA is not needed for Atlassian Companion. Am I missing something?

Hi Henrik!

Atlassian Companion does not require Java to work. For automatic installation on the workstations of your company there is a specially prepared MSI distribution. More details can be found in the article Administering the Atlassian Companion App.

PS: Your workstations use Windows, right? :)
