I want to do a test migration from server to Cloud using the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant but I don't want all the confluence pages to be deleted since that is currently production for us.
I was planning to migrate it to our dev system as test
Hi @Gustavo Moura ,
the Assistant will never delete your data, you don't have to worry about losing pages or spaces. Atlassian does recommend backing up your Server instance but it's more as a peace of mind than a requirement.
Let me know if this helps,

Awesome, thank you Alexis! I just tested and you are right! I appreciate it.

@Gustavo Moura I suppose not but suggest you create a backup , even better a snapshot of the Virtual machine (Unix like for example) to be safe and then migrate if something goes wrong you can bring back the previous state .
But we have a very nice documentation here about this app step by step guide.
