Explanation of requests from user access logs

Dmitri Bukovski August 16, 2022

Hi,

I'm monitoring user activity in my Confluence space with confluence access logs. While some of the requests related to user actions are pretty explanatory on their own, like viewpage.action?, there are still quite a bunch of action requests that require numerous attempts to identify which action they represent.

So far I simply check with DEV Tools of the browser to identify these actions, but I wonder, if there is already any documentation for it?

Hi @Dmitri Bukovski

welcome to the Atlassian Community!
From my believe you need to observe which type of requests result in which entry in logs.

The documentation more generally speaks about it is controlled by Tomcat what is logged and in which way:
