External user authentication for knowledge base

Sven Listing September 15, 2017

Hi,

We want to offer an online help to our application using the confluence knowledge base. While it should be available to non registered users, we also don't want to offer it to the entire public as well but to all users registered within our app.

As we don't use service desk, we can't use the "only service desk users" restriction.

We are looking for a hook to pass the validation to our app w/o the need to create individual users in confluence and use SSO.

Is there an existing solution which I missed in my searches? A plugin maybe?

Thanks a million!
