Hello,
We have the problem that editing files with Atlassian Companion does not work on a virtual client. For colleagues with laptops or PCs it works fine. We assume that a security policy on the virtual client prevents Companion from downloading the file locally.
Can someone please tell me in which local directory Companion temporarily stores the file to be edited.
kind regards and thanks in advance.
Hi @Jürgen Buchinger ,
Atlassian Companion creates a hidden directory in the user's home folder with the name ".atlassian-companion". E.g. C:\Users\Username\.atlassian-companion
It will download each file that the user edits into a separate sub folder.
Regards,
Alex K (Developer at Atlassian)
