Filtering on multiple task lists per row in a Confluence table

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of a way to sort Confluence tables on task lists where each row has multiple entries?  See attached.  Straight-up column filtering doesn't trigger correctly.  Notice the task list is super easy for users to update their schedule - no page editing needed!

I do have StiltSoft's Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app but that doesn't seem to have the capability either.  I was thinking possibly a user macro after reading StiltSoft's article here .

Hi Dale,

Do you need to filter entries to know, for example, who is in the office on Thursday?

Please, notice that you can use Cell value delimiter to split Home \ Office value into two values Home and Office and be able to filter by them.

Also, you can use the Visual Filter to show checked tasks.

As a workaround, you can use Handy Status macro (Handy Macros app): users will be able to switch their status between Office/Both/Home. It is compatible with the Table Filter macro. You can try it on the demo site (feel free to edit and create pages there).

Hi Andrey,

The answer is yes to your question; I'd like to be able to filter and see who is in the office on the various days of the week.  When I try to use cell value delimiter and the visual filter I see this (I don't see the full set of options in the dropdown):

Yes, it won't work properly with this format. In my opinion, the best solution is to use a switchable status.

Or change the table to this layout:
