I just installed the HipChat-Plugin 1.4, created a token and saved this token in the configuration.
But HipChat functionality will not show up in Space Admin?
Where is the problem? CFL 4.3.1
Thanks and best regards, Martin
Hi All,
thanks fpr your support.
After several de- and reinstallations over the past weeks the problem is solved and the plugin is working successful. Unhappily I do not know what the problem really was.
Nevertheless the problem is solved.
Best regards, Martin
Hello Martin,
Is your Confluence instance behind a firewall? It is possible that your network is not set up to allow this plugin to communicate with the HipChat servers. I would check with your network admins to see if you are allowed to make requests from the machine Confluence is installed on out to the internet.
If you are not behind a firewall, including screencaptures of the behavior you are seeing would be a big help.

Hi Daniel,
yes our instance is behind a firewall, but able to access the internet or be accessed from the internet.
The plugin is installed and I already created a token for hipchat:
But I will not see possible configuration options for the plugin in the space admin menu:
They are just missing. Or did I understand something wrong?
Best regards, Martin

Hi Martin - you might want to check out http://help.hipchat.com/knowledgebase/articles/64444-ip-addresses-for-firewalled-environments to ensure that the proper protocols are allowed through the firewall.
