How can I show Epic "sum Remaining Estimate" from Portfolio in Confluence?

I want to show the "sum" Estimate value from Portfolio Epic view in Confluence.   In the "Jira Issue Filter" macro in Confluence, in the "Display options" you can select to display "Remaining Estimate" which returns the value of Epic estimate (eg the 2 shown in the picture). Selecting "sum Remaining estimate", doesn't return a value. (eg, I would expect it to show 6.16, that is, sum remaining estimates from stories (4.16) + (2) from the epic remaining estimate.

Is there an available selection that will show the "sum Estimate" that I could be using?

Once an epic is broken into stories, we remove the Epic Estimate amount, and use the "sum" Estimates of the Stories to determine how much effort is left.

Hi Nicole,

It isn't anything you're overlooking - it is a known issue: JIRA Issue Macro not showing value for Σ Remaining Estimate. Please do weigh in on the bug report by commenting or voting to communicate directly with our developers.

Thanks,

Ann

Thanks for letting me know Ann.  However I see the bug has been open for 4 years, and is still considered low priority.  Without confidence in reporting basic data like this, it is hard to argue with management when they look to move to cheaper alternatives.

I agree, this is insane. Such a basic feature and all these forums with nitty-gritty details about why it wasn't done. Seriously guys, when I click on an Epic I want to see how much time is in all the child tasks, stories, tests, sub-tasks etc.
