How can i combine Confluence Tasks with JIRA Issues?

We conduct weely Business Development Meetings and assign tasks on the spot using Confluence. 

What is the best way to convert the condluence tasks to JIRA Issues every week?

I've described there a way to create an Jira issue from a selected text in Confluence

I tried to go to My Tasks in confluence.

Select some text and hover the pointer over the selection but nothing pops up
