How can you name a page automatically after a variable?

Deleted user November 17, 2020

Hello,

I inserted a button macro that lets users create pages from a template where they have to fill some variables before publishing the page (like a form, because we dont have a macro for this and its impossible to request it). I've been trying for the page name to be equal to to a varibale previously filled by the user, can this be done?

If not, I need a solution to at least have different names in every page because the users dont change the names and its problem when they don't have unique names.

Hi

It looks like you can customize the template title to at least include a created date into the title - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/create-from-template-macro-317196995.html

Not guaranteed to be unique, but at least something to help your users with unique names

Thanks! I tried this already but users have to be able to create different pages on the same day so it doesn't work.

Is there a way to insert time?  I had a similar question, and that could solve the problem.
