How do I bypass the user set-up screen where the user has to select a space to watch in confluence?

Johanna Himes February 8, 2018

When I add a new user to my Confluence page and they click on the invitation to set up their account, they are required to choose a space to watch before logging in. Does anyone know how to disable this? I want the users to have access to the spaces I have set up, but do not want them to have to watch one by default.

thanks

Johanna

Dear @Johanna Himes,

I just verified this on  Confluence Server 6.7.0 (invited news single user by mail): Give your new users a direct link to one of your spaces. That skipped it.

So long

Thanks Thomas, I don't want to send users link if possible, I wanted to use the built in Atlassian invitation but bypass the step where they have to choose a space to get started. Do you know if that's possible?

thanks

Johanna

As nobody else answered, this won't be possible. I have also not seen any settings to avoid this. You can create a suggestion for Atlassian at https://jira.atlassian.com.
