I have created a MS Office doc that I wish to send to requesters via my Gmail account. Honestly I know very little about this level of work in the Confluence Wiki, but I am very interested in learning more.

Hi Greg,
You can go to Tools > Attachments and copy the link and past to your e-mail and send to your colleague. There isn't an automate way to do it. You'll have to literally copy the attachment's URL and paste to your gmail.

Sounds like an opportunity for some enterprising developer to help fill in a gap, and make a dollar or two while they are at it. If it was written in such a way as to survive Confluence upgrades, I would be interested in being a test pilot. I can build the plane, but I would like to see it fly!
