We are using Confluence as a knowledge base for one of our local customer service desks. Part of the information that should be available to the CS agents is news that are relevant to them. We produce these news as blog posts, and use labels to sort them in various blog rolls, depending on the focus area for a specific agent/team (sales, support, anti-churn, etc).
Now, in order to save screen real estate, we only want the blog roll to show title and modified (or created) date. That's it. But the blog-post macro also shows author (will be a handful of team leads, but info is not relevant to the blog roll) and space key (all these blog posts are in one space). The macro also has a title bar "Blog Posts" when it is displayed in the "content=titles" mode, but not in the other modes...
We also tried the Content By Label macro, which came very close. But we couldn't find a way for it to show any form of date (created or modified), only sorting options for those.
So...is there any way to get around this? Is it possible to create a copy of the system macro and tweak it as a user macro? We have been looking at the available plugins, but so far nothing has come close.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
