I want to enforce a read receipt or forced acknowledgement of some type in confiforms when a user opens either an email that was sent via an IFTTT macro or just by simply entering a registration record that was sent to them in an email that links back to that registration record.
Think of the situation like this:
I assigned a task to a user.
That task gets generated through an IFTTT and sends an email to the user. The user reads the email but chooses to ignore the task only to let it rot in the inbox.
Is there anyway to enforce some read-receipt or acknowledgement that the user read the email? Our company uses Outlook.
Alternatively, let's pretend the user clicks the email and brings them into the task. They read the task, but backs out and ignores the task. is there solution that can enforce some type acknowledgement for that task within the registration record?
Hi
ConfiForms app explicitly sends emails without a read-receipt functionality
As for the "link", you can probably set up a link like that (sort of a functionality we show here https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Creating+auto-enroll+links+to+submit+forms+via+links+in+Confluence)
Can be tracked in the same form/different form... you choose
