How to build company glossary with Confluence Cloud

Does anyone have experience with building their own glossary in Confluence Cloud?

There is only one plugin I can find, only with a price per user it is a bit high priced for us. So I am wondering if there may be other options or ideas, maybe by the use of macros (CYO) to get this done.

Right now, there's no alternative for this add-on in Cloud version, and it would be necessary manually create and populate, for example, a table to be used as a glossary.

There's a feature request in order to make Glossary add-on available for Cloud, as you can see here: CONF-37580. We suggest you vote and comment on this request in order to increase its visibility.
