How to create a global calendar from all spaces and share on dashboard

I would like to have the Upcoming events widget that shows up on the dashboard to reflect a global audience instead of just my calendar.  Is there a way to do that?

The dashboard shows events from the user's My Calendars because it is designed to offer a personalized events list. An organization wide events list could be useful, however, now that you mention it.

Here is an overview of what you can customize on the dashboard: Customizing the Confluence Dashboard It mentions that you can designate a different page as a landing page if the dashboard doesn't suit your case.

I found a plugin that will allow you to view all events from all calendars, but I did not find a way to embed it on a page. You could conceivably include a link to it as a useful tool - it has a calendar event search functionality that may come in handy.
