How to fix the broken sapce logos and user avatar

Hi All,

I have recently upgraded the Confluence version to 7.19.17 and facing issues in logos and user avatars. It is showing in a broken format. Let me know if any fix for this.

I am sorry that the answer you got before was misleading - it was generated by an AI that has no understanding of your question or Atlassian software. 

Indexing (images for users and logos are not indexed) and clearing the caches will do precisely nothing for this problem.  Re-uploading images may be a fix, but it would be patching over a potentially serious problem that you should be identifying (you do not "plaster over the cracks" before you know what caused them -  it's more important to get the you need to know that your building has subsidence or structural problems)

This problem can occur on upgrade if you have used the installer to upgrade a Confluence that has had custom logos uploaded or added to the file system manually.

You should debug by looking at the URL for a few broken logos, and what the error messages and then checking that

• Your network is not blocking access
• The files physically exist on the server in the right place
• The account running Confluence has the right access to the files (on a proper operating system, you should find everything in Confluence-install and Confluence-home belong to the user running the service)
