How to remove unwanted macro of wiki pages ? [Confluence 4.3.5]

Because the license of table-plus macro is no longer valid, the wiki page displays the following message:

Edit the page:

Doing the copy-and-paste or using source-editor is not so intuitive.

What is the best way to remove unwanted macro?

Thanks.

This has been answered before. Briefly, you can

  1. Implement a simple user macro with the same name that just renders the macro body unchanged
  2. Disable the table plugin
  3. Test

Make sure you are not using the csv macro on your site - there is no easy replacement for that.

Hi Rowens,

To remove a macro from a page you can click over the macro name (in the picture above click over Table plus name for example) and the whole macro will be marked. After that you can hit the delete button to remove the macro.

If you can't access a page due some corrupted macro, you can use this URL to access and edit the page:

http://<baseurl>/pages/editpage.action?pageId=<pageID>

Just change the baseURL and the pageID for the actual ones being used.

Hope that helps!

Regards,

Rodrigo
