A (report) template was created. In the Space, there are a few top pages (categories) where pages must be under (one of them is Reports). I created a button on each of those top pages, directing to its specific template (e.g. Reports). When a new page is created from that specific (report) template, I'd like the page to be saved under Reports instead of loose in the space. Is there a way to specify where to save that new page created with a specific template?
Hi @goncalo_ferraz , welcome to the Community!
Can you please elaborate on how you created those buttons?
I'm asking because the Create from Template Macro is doing what I understood you like to achieve - have a button to create a page from a specified template. The new page then is a child page of the page with the macro/button.
Kind regards,
Nicolai
Hi, @Nicolai Sibler. I hope the image below is helpful to illustrate what I mean. There's the default Create button and another one I created on the page, to help my internal clients' experience.
I've used the following string on the button (https://confluence.company.com/pages/createpage-entervariables.action?templateId=217022465&spaceKey=UXR). Maybe there's a way to specify, in the string, where the new page should be placed/saved: as Reports' child.
I've done the same thing on Requests and Projects (side-menu), each one with a different template, hoping the pages would be created as their child. Once I found out it was not working that way, I came to the community! :)

Hey, @Nicolai Sibler
I found this!

I just can't find the PageID for the parent pages, since they're named after their titles. Any clue? Thanks already!
