Import from ics not popularing 'who'

Kevin Lynch August 16, 2018

I'm trying to migrate Team Calendar data from one instance of Confluence to another.

I first export the Calendar to iCalendar(ics) and then Add Calendar and choose Import Calendar (ics) into the new instance.

The dates/times and what/description come across. But the who/user data does not.

Am I missing something, I've spent a lot of time researching this and haven't seen anyone having this issue.

We are running Team Calendars 5.3.4 on Confluence 5.8.9.

Figured it out. Team Calendars tracks users using a hexadecimal value. I found that the users hex value is different between the instances. Therefore I need to identify the old and new hex values for all users and then do a mass replace in any calendars that we migrate.
