Hi,
I have recently installed Confluence and am able to import word documents into my space and page. However since we are migrating from another project management tool, I have lot of documents to import. Importing one at a time eats away all my time.I would like to import all documents, one at a time. All are word documents. Can anyone please let me know whether there is a way to do this?
Thank you,
Poornima.G
Are you trying to load all items into a single page? How many documents are you trying to move
If they will be on one page you can use drag and drop functionality.
On the page under tools menu click on attachments. It should be grey rectangle saying "Drop files here to attach them". Drag the doc there and done.
If you have a HUGE number of documents you may want to set up Confluence as a webDav Client...

Confluence Doesn't make the best fileserver.
What tool are you importing from? There may be an integration that can move content progrmatically.
Hi Daniel,
Each space I have to upload 50 documents . I am importing from collabnet. I have tried through attachments but that is not what we want our documents to be seen as.Can you tell me if there is another way to do this.
Thanks

Poornima,
You can't do this using any of the standard user tools; you can only import one at a time.
However, I'm sure there are more technical people using Confluence who can advise whether it's possible to do this programatically.
Cheers.

The multi-file import plugin performs bulk importing of word documents now: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1223239

Is there a solution yet for that problem? Or an app as Atlassian can't provide that feature?

Has this been solved?
