Is there any way to restrict the HTML macro

We have been using HTML macro provided by Atlassian, but we did not find a any way to restrict its usage to specific users:

Any direction how we can achieve this via customization or any other way?

One way we found is HTML for confluence plugin which provide restriction facilities.

Macro usage page shows HTML macro usage to be more that 3K , not easy to convert from Confluence base HTML macro to HTML for confluence.

Any help is highly appreciated

I know about the add-on called Macro Security for Confluence. This can allow you to restrict specific macros from certain users.

Have you tried this before?
