JIRA issue/filter macro in confluence is not working with JIRA Cloud.

Deepak Nagaraj March 31, 2020

I am trying to display the results of a filter from JIRA cloud in Confluence.

But the JIRA issue/filter macro in confluence is not working with JIRA Cloud.

Any alternative?

Hello @Deepak Nagaraj,

Welcome to Atlassian Community! It's nice to have you join us.

From what I understand, you have a Confluence Server site, which you have connected to a Jira Cloud site. Right now, you're trying to use the Jira Issues Macro to display filter results in Confluence Server. Is that right?

Could you let me know what your Confluence Server version is?

Secondly, has this integration worked in the past, or is it a recent setup? Can you let me know the steps you took to integrate the two?

When integrating Cloud and Server, you'll want to make sure that you start the integration from the Cloud site. In addition, the Server site has to be accessible from a standard port (i.e. 80, 443). See Link to Server Products from Cloud for the full set of requirements. You may want to remove the integration, and attempt it again, making sure to use the recommended order.

If you continue to have issues, it will help to know what error messages you see when you attempt to retrieve the filter results. If you check the Confluence Server logs, you may be able to find more details on that. If you'er not sure where to find those logs, you can locate them using our Working with Confluence Logs documentation.

Regards,

Shannon
