Jira issues macro in confluence do not insert data with display option 'Table'

My two applications (JIRA and Confluence) are connected with app links. It gets data from JIRA for Issue counts, but do not show anything when I used the display option 'table'. Please let me know if any pointers to start my trouble shooting.

Hi Siva,

I presume you're using the JIRA Issues macro, and when you run a query it will return a value if you select "Total issue count", but if you change to "Table" it doesn't return any data.

Is that correct?
