Links to Anchor on Same Page Randomly Break

David Fenstermacher

Page has an anchor placed at the top of the page, with value "top"

Links are place throughout the long article, which reference the this anchor.

These Links are embedded in a Table

Their values are:
Link: "#top"

Link Text: "top"

Once saved they work fine for days or weeks but suddenly break. And the displayed text for the link changes to the "HD: Customer (tab)#top" on all of them. And when I go to edit the link's values the [Edit] button is grayed out. The only fix is to delete the link and recreate it.

We do not have this issue with links in the table that access other pages or URLs.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Yep - see my similar question here. Never got any substantive response, and the issue is unresolved.
