I have tested to upgrade Confluence from 3.5 to 4.3.3, but found that the buttons Save and Cancel are missing after upgrade when editing a page.

Any ideas?

I have now found the reason for the problem.

When I moved some Custom HTML from "At end of the HEAD" to "At beginning of the BODY" then it worked.

Hi,

You might be encountering the issue described on this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Editor+footer+is+missing+when+editing+a+page+containing+table+in+IE

Could you please check if this is the case?

An additional cause is listed in this bug report: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-26920

Cheers,

Peter

You might want to log a support ticket at http://support.atlassian.com so that our engineers can investigate the cause of the issue.

There is no table on my page.

I have tried to enable and disable the jira-connector plugin.

I have tried the browsers IE, Firefox and Chrome.

But the buttons are still missing.

Are you using any customizatton or custom theme? If you are, try disabling them, may be they are not compatible with Confluence 4.3.3

I'm not using any custom schemes.
I only have the plugin Adaptavist Content Formatting Macros and there is no differens when I have activated safemode.
I have removed user macros.

The buttons are still missing.
