Move conflunece and jira to the cloud / cant upgrade self hosted server

I'd like to move our local installation to the cloud.

It seems like we have to update confluence to 5.10 and this seems not to be coverend by our license. Do I need to buy al local license to move to the cloud or is there another way?

I already tried to renew your maintenance but when I click the link renew your maintenance

in General Configuration > Troubleshooting and support tools 

the link is dead.

True, and the recommendation is that you upgrade to "latest".  You'll need to go to at least version 6.0 before trying it, and I'd strongly recommend 6.6

In order to move your local instance to Atlassian cloud you must upgrade your local instance to the lastest version.
