×Hi All,
Wondering if there's a way to move or copy en masse, all documents of a specified label?
We have a large number of pages spread across various spaces that we want to cherry pick and move or copy to a new space. I'm ideally looking for a way for users (ours have edit permissions) to mark documents so that Administrators can copy/move/consolidate as required, but very open to other suggestions on how best to achieve this.
The reason we are not asking users to move/copy themselves, is many of them are not familiar at all with Confluence and have made things quite messy in the past.
I'd personally be open to searching for labels and manually moving documents, but there is a requirement to do this on an ongoing basis and it would be great to do it more efficiently.
Kind Regards,
Peter
I'm pretty sure copying multiple pages is restricted to child pages - so if all of these pages were children of one parent page you could copy the whole tree. I don't believe its possible to copy multiple pages from different trees - there appear to be a suggestion for this in CONFSERVER-38965.
So you could link all the pages into one parent and ask your users to copy the whole tree to a different space.
An alternative if it's multiple trees attached to a home-page is to copy the actual home-page, as the 'top' pages are classed as children of space's home.
