I'm using Confluence 6.6.1
I'm trying to set up a company intranet and want all users to initialy be directed to a specific space that I've defined as the site home page. I have that space indicated as the site homepage in the Further Configuration area, but when a new user first logs into Confluence, after the welcome messages and choosing some spaces to follow, they are initially taken to the user dashboard and not to the space I specifiy.
Is there a way to get new users to go directly to the correct home page?
Just found this page which tells how to disable the Onboarding experience for new users!-
That's one way to approach it, for sure! Glad you found a workaround for your use case.

Hi Mike,
This was brought up before but abandoned for lack of interest: Change landing page after onboarding. There isn't a workaround yet but I am interested in seeing what the rest of the Community can come up with.
Thanks,
Ann

Thanks for the quick reply. This is a bit disappointing. Could a workaround be to somehow disable the onboarding experience? It is less than ideal to tell people about our new intranet, show them screen shots of how it will look, and then, the first time they log into it, they are taken to something completely different.
