Is there a timeframe for when the next Enterprise Release is coming? The documentation I can find says that Atlassian will designate a feature release as an Enterprise release, at least every 12 months. And I think the 6.6 release was last Dec/Jan.
I'm asking because it's critical that we upgrade our instance of Confluence because we're experiencing bad performance issues. But, if there's a new Enterprise Release coming we might be able to wait for that. I'd hate to upgrade and a week later have a new Enterprise release come out.
thanks,
-Laura
Confluence 6.13 will be our next Enterprise release line
Check out the release notes page to see when it is available, which will be very ;) soon.
We'll give 6.13 the Enterprise release stamp of approval early in the new year, so start planning your upgrade now. Keep an eye on the release notes page for the announcement.
Whether you choose an Enterprise release or a standard release, always remember to grab the most recent bug fix version to make sure Confluence is the best it can be.

Hi, checking in again about when the "stamp of approval" will come? Wondering if that will be in the next few weeks or if it's farther out than that? thanks.

There is a rumor that a new Confluence Enterprise release is coming soon but "soon" is a relative term and I have no idea what that means. Hopefully one of the Atlassians who hangs around here can give you some guidance.
Cheers,
