REST API controller

Manikanta January 29, 2019

We have many users who call data from Jira and Confluence via REST API to/from the third party applications like ServiceNOW, Power BI etc..  This is hitting our site performance very badly especially during peak hours.  Since, we don't have any control over who all are actually reading/writing the data into Jira and Confluence, we are ending up with outages at times.

Can someone suggest any way to control who all are using API calls, so we can restrict/control them? Any plugin suggestions also would be helpful.

Hello,

You could install a proxy between your Jira and Confluence and limit access to certain rest endpoints there.
