RSS Feed macro validation

Hi, i get the following error when adding a rss feed.

Fout bij het renderen van macro 'rss'

com.atlassian.confluence.macro.MacroExecutionException: Unsupported schema found in RSS feed

The w3c feed validator finds it valid, with some recommendation. Is the schema or documentation available? How the rss feed macro does validation.

Hello Syama,

There's no specific documentation for the RSS feed macro regarding the schema, but I believe it should support the RSS 2.0 specification.

Did the issue persist after checking on the Recommendations from the W3C's feed validator? 
Things like invalid links can cause issues as well.

And if the RSS feed is a public one, do you mind sharing it here so we can take a look?

Hi,
It is resolved after fixing the recommandation. It was about the link not containing a known (e.g. http://) protocol.
