Hi,
our IT tries to install the Atlassion Comanion on our Terminalservers. As far as good. Unfortunately the users cannot trust the Companion because the app seems to be installed for the admin user and so the singe user does not have the right to trust the app.
Is there a way to install Companion on Terminal?
Hi @[deleted] ,
What do you mean by "trust" in this context? I'm assuming this has to do with Windows permissions.
In our administration docs for Companion we provide an example MSI install command that installs at the user level instead of the admin level on Windows using the ALLUSERS flag:
msiexec /i “Atlassian Companion.msi” COMPANION_TRUSTED_DOMAINS=“https://confluence.atlassian.com;https://support.atlassian.com;” /qb ALLUSERS=“1"
You can also modify the install location to a directory that does not require admin permissions by using the "APPLICATIONROOTDIRECTORY" and "TARGETDIR" install flags (also provided as an example on the documentation page).
You also pre-set trusted domains to be those of your Confluence instance/s, as shown in the "COMPANION_TRUSTED_DOMAINS" install flag above.

Alex K (Developer at Atlassian).
