Best Way to migrate a 25 instance using EmbeddedSQL

I installed 5.6.1 and only now I was informed that I was using embedded SQL due to a bug on 5.6.1 Installer. I want to migrate to a MSSQL database.

Which would be the best procedure?

Follow the documentation available at

1. Backup existing database by manually creating an XML backup
2. Setup a new instance of Confluence and update the dbconfig in confluence home directory
3. Import existing backup
