Calendar: is it possible to duplicate an event

Tatiana Marti May 13, 2022

Hello,

In our team we have some event we need to duplicate. These are not regular events (like every Tuesday). We would like to be able to individually duplicate certain events (a bit like in outlook).
We did not find this possibility. Does it exist or is it planned?

Thanks for your help

Regards

Tania

@Tatiana Marti If you are talking about copy / pasting events this is currently not available in server https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-51237

@Brant Schroeder Thanks for the answer. I already saw this issue but it's not really the same. Because in our case it's not regular. But I suppose that my case it's not featured.

I would like this as well.  Such a thing exists in Google Calendar.  One can take a one-off event and duplicate it, changing the date/time/etc.

In our case, we have deployments that occur on the xth week on X day.  And there are always exceptions because of holidays, etc.  We would like to take an existing event, duplicate it, and change the date to be the next prod release date.

I suppose one could create a recurring event and just adjust the single instance that falls short of the exact pattern.
