Can Powerpoint slides be imported into Gliffy as customizable content?

Hi Everyone, is anyone able to advise if it is possible to import slides from a Powerpoint presentation into Gliffy as customizable content?  I am looking to pull content in that I can then edit in Gliffy within Confluence.  Does anyone know if this can be done? At the moment we are using Server, but would also want it able to work in Data Centre.  I asked a similar question for Draw.io but it appears it can't.  Thanks

Hi Debbie - 

Thank you for reaching out. Currently, Gliffy does not have the capability to import a PowerPoint presentation as customizable. 

What we can do, is add this as a feature request to our development team. That way your comment will be taken into consideration when feature enhancements are being reviewed for future versions of Gliffy.

We strive to implement all feature requests submitted by our customers, however, we are unable to provide a time-frame or guarantee as when/if a feature would become available.

We really appreciate customers like you! Comments and questions allows us to provided the enhancements that are needed to continually improve our product.

I recently succeeded using the following procedure:

1. Mark all desired elements in PowerPoint and copy them into clipboard
2. Open Visio, paste clipboard and ungroup all elements (as they appear all grouped after paste)
3. Save to regular Visio Drawing file (vsdx)
4. Open draw.io page and "Import" "from Device" the Visio file.
5. In draw.io "Export as" "VSDX (beta)"
6. Create a new Gliffy drawing, import above VSDX file created by draw.io

This works even if Gliffy doc says it can only import Visio files saved by Visio directly (Which didn't work!)

Doesn't seem like one can copy from powerpoint to visio
