Can a Page belong to multiple Spaces?

I need to setup a Page that is listed, accessible and editable from multiple Spaces. Can this be done? If so, how?

A page is belong to only one Space. You could not create a page for multiple Spaces

However you could bookmark them under the space shortcut on the sidebar https://developer.atlassian.com/confdev/tutorials/adding-space-shortcut-links

Or you could copy the page then move it to another Space

Also, have a look at the "include" macro to make a page readable within other spaces (an attempt to edit will just show the user the include and the source page, so they can follow that to the actual page)

The page include macro is most definitely the best way to do this. Single source your content as much as possible.

@Davin Studer I tried that and it worked great. But follow up question on that. It looks like the macro inherits the permissions from the original space. Is there a way to have the page appear in a "public" space. I want to have the editing happen only by certain people within the space, but then share the output publically?

There are a couple ways to do this. If you use the include macros included with Confluence the content needs to exist in the least restrictive space and then be included into the more restrictive space in order to not have permissions issues. You could store the content in an open space and then put an edit restriction on the page to make sure only certain people can edit it.

The other option would be to use the Include Content app by Keysight Technologies. It's a free app. It has a macro that lets you include content from another page and bypass the permissions issues. Specifically, they are the Shared Block macro (similar to the Excerpt macro) and the Include Shared Block (similar to Include Excerpt macro).
