Cannot delete or update a parent row: a foreign key constraint fails

Hello,

I have upgarded Confluence from 5.1.3 to 5.3 version. I got the following error on atlassian-confluence.log

Caused by: com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: Cannot delete or update a parent row: a foreign key constraint fails (`confluence`.`AO_9412A1_USER_APP_LINK`, CONSTRAINT `fk_ao_9412a1_user_app_link_user_id` FOREIGN KEY (`USER_ID`) REFERENCES `AO_9412A1_AOUSER` (`ID`))

How to fix this issue?

You seem to encounter a bug in Confluence (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-32014). Check if the workaround can help you fix the problem.

I am also getting the same error, when I upgraded from Confluence v4.3.7 to v5.4.2. Any solutions?

Did you end up finding a solution for this one? Encountering the same issue from 5.2.3 to 5.4.
